Maui Kai 306 Policies and Information:
- Terms and Conditions
Maximum occupancy is 2
Minimum stay is 5 nights
Unit furnishings and amenities are subject to change without notice - Payments and Security Deposit
Reservation deposit: a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount must be received to confirm a reservation.
Final payment: full payment of the rental balance due is required no later than 30 days prior to the check-in date.
Security Deposit: a security deposit of $250 is required and will be credited back within 14 days of check-out based upon the condition of the condo. - Cancellations
The reservation deposit is non-refundable, however if a cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date we can apply the deposit to a stay within one year of the original check-in date.
Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit all deposits and rental balance due payments. - Cleaning fees
All stays are subject to a one-time check-out clean of $140. Daily maid service is NOT included in our rates. However you may make arrangements for additional maid service for an additional charge. Requests for additional linens and towels beyond what is provided at check-in are available for an additional fee. - Check-in time is 3 pm; Checkout time is 11 am
Sorry, but we cannot accommodate earlier check-ins or check-outs because we often have parties departing and arriving on the same day. - Our condo is a non-smoking unit
Hawaii state law prohibits smoking in all enclosed or partially enclosed areas open to the public that include, but are not limited to, restrooms, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, bars, hotel and motel rooms, lanais, restaurants, retail service establishments and retail stores. The Maui Kai Resort has a designated area for smoking - ask at the front desk for more information. - Guests are liable for additional charges resulting from any damage, lost items or excessive cleaning, which will be deducted from the security deposit. There is a $15 charge for missing towels or beach towels.
- Keys
A push button lock box is by the door of the condo. Open the lock box (instructions and code are detailed in your final confirmation) to access the key to the condo. This key must be left in the lock box. There are 2 keys inside the unit, which must be left inside the unit when guests depart. There will be a $20 re-keying charge if keys are lost or not returned. The Maui Kai front desk does not provide access to the condo. - Parking
Free parking is provided for our guests. All guests must register their car at the Maui Kai front desk upon arrival.
